Kia ora! Pleased to virtually meet you - I'm Clem, a digital creative living in Christchurch, New Zealand.

My design journey begins from the ripe young age of 7. The days of WordArt, Paint, Comic Sans and Microsoft Word's infamous paperclip. I absolutely loved to write, so naturally I began creating many 'books' (obviously with 5-star reviews), word finds, magazine pages, pamphlets - you name it.

Fast-forward 10 years, when the career pathway is looming, and although I still love to write, I haven't the foggiest idea of what to do. I landed in broadcasting, which I somewhat enjoyed, but it didn't quite 'scratch the itch'. At 19, after an internship as an editorial assistant, I became a sub-editor of a well-known Christchurch magazine, and found myself becoming more and more intrigued by the ever-growing world of design.

After a Diploma in Web & Digital Design and a stint in digital marketing and freelance web design, I have continued to develop my design skills at Yoobee College, recently graduating with a Diploma of Creative Digital Design in July 2024. I'm now building my freelancing career with a focus on working in the industries of food, fashion and travel - three of my favourite things!
